More importantly, it's much healthier than other drinks. Soda and fruit juices are loaded with sugar and are simply empty calories. These types of drinks are very bad for your teeth as well. Not only is sugar damaging to teeth, but the acid and dark colors can eat away at enamel and stain teeth.

Approximately 75% of milk consumption occurs at home. Breakfast is the meal we’re most likely to drink milk. Nearly 50% of milk consumption occurs in the morning, 20% at noon/afternoon and 30% in the evening. American’s busy, on-the-go lifestyle has us eating more meals away from home so less milk is being consumed.

Casein absorption: Almost 80% of the protein found in milk is in the phosphorus-containing form known as casein – a complete protein. Casein is hydrophobic (literally “scared of water”) and so it is not soluble in water but instead appears in milk as a suspension – and for this reason it is also called “Micellar Casein” (separated without the use of chemicals). The human body, however, processes casein a little uniquely.

Milk is actually my favorite drink of all time. There are many reasons I drink milk. One is because it's the only drink that actually quenches my thirst. More importantly, it's much healthier than other drinks. Soda and fruit juices are loaded with sugar and are simply empty calories.

No i don't skip break fast because i know that break fast is very important for the health. If we had break fast then we don't need the food very early and we don't eat too much. This also helps us to maintain our daily eating schedule. There are many other benefits of having break fast in the morning which can help us into the whole day.

I am thinking about planning a special breakfast with my fiancee this Saturday, but I'm not sure what to make. It will be just us two, so I don't want a huge breakfast. We eat eggs, but no breakfast meat. Does anyone have any ideas or recipes? I love mimosas, but that's all I've planned!

I'm 33 weeks pregnant and was recently diagnosed with a touch of gestational diabetes. I am no longer allowed to have more than 15g of carbs for breakfast before 10:00 am. So I have been reduced to some fruit and a glass of milk or yogurt for breakfast. Prior, I was a milk and cereal, muffins, oatmeal, eggs, bacon, and toast eater for breakfast. Now I am starving again after I've been at work for an hour with this reduced carb breakfast. It's hard to have the energy I need to keep up at work when I haven't had a filling breakfast. I start at 8:00 and I don't get my lunchbreak until 1:00 usually. I can bring a snack to tie me over until lunch, but I still can't even eat that until after 10. So do you have any good ideas of foods that will fill me up better but still be within the 15g of carbs guideline?

Breakfast is, to me, mandatory meal, every day. I think that breakfast is the most important meal, because, after breakfast, usually follows the activity, and the body needs energy, which should be entered exactly in the diet foods for breakfast. Eat cereals and fruits for breakfast and live health!
