Mommygonz is right. Apl's activity is a great opportunity of learning. Sex is an essential part of marriage. This improves and strengthens relationship. Men are more aggressive about this activity compared to women. I always explain to my wife the importance of satisfaction for both of us.

In our church, we set a certain night for this discussion. All the wives will be in another house talking about families and us. And the men will also be having fellowship in another house. With this, one can share and at the same learn about marriage, sex and relationship.

Marko, the best way to strengthen your relationship with your wife is communication. And that includes this topic. You try to explore and discuss things like this.

Regarding the post of now_i_m_here, my mind is like-- 'no this can't be'. Let me quote some parts: "Marriage is an ancient Aramaic word meaning lack of sex."

As for me, sex becomes "legalize' with marriage.

Marriage is a social union or legal contract between individuals that creates kinship. It is an institution in which interpersonal relationships, usually intimate and sexual, are acknowledged by a variety of ways, depending on the culture or demographic.(this is from wikipedia, which I strongly agree on).

Marriage is an ancient Aramaic word meaning lack of sex.

Sudies show that when a man gets married part of his brain shuts down. Part of that has to do with sex. Not sex in general just sex with you. To him you are becoming invisible. Now you understand why swingers have a divorce rate of 5% or less.

This is an area where I don't want to talk too much to my friends. Since in this forum we don't know each other personally... I see this as a place for learning from other husbands.

What do you think?
